Theme, banner and emoticons

Coming soon,I plan on making a new theme for paste. I like the layout of the basic Vanilla template—so I will probably just swap the colors (for now). Also, I want to design a sweet banner for paste:
Finally, I want to add some emoticons, but not from a standard set—so I should probably design those.

Could you design a slug emoticon?

I don't know how the current Emoticon plugin works. I'll try though.

I looked at the emoticon plugin and it looks really easy to edit. I just have to make a slug emoticon and find out what text should represent it. :UUU
